Meet the Heart Behind The Clarity Studio
I’m so glad you’re here!
Starting therapy, or starting over with someone new, is a big deal, and I don't take it lightly that you're considering doing that with me. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's in Counseling from Clemson University, but more than that, I'm someone who genuinely loves helping people get unstuck, even when getting there feels uncomfortable.
Credentials, please
Before opening The Clarity Studio, I worked across the mental health spectrum, spanning community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, college counseling and other private practices. These roles taught me an invaluable lesson: everyone struggles differently, and everyone comes out of it differently, too. I meet you exactly where you.
You don't have to have it all figured out
If you're the one everyone calls when things fall apart, the friend who always has it together, the daughter who keeps the peace, you're exactly who I built this space for. This work is especially close to my heart for black and brown women navigating anxiety, guilt, and complicated family dynamics, though every woman carrying more than her share is welcome here.
Take your time exploring. If anything resonates with you or you have specific questions for me, feel free to contact me below.
You may be wondering…
“is this the right person for me?”
We’re probably a good fit if:
You wake up tired (whether you actually got to sleep or you tossed and turned all night)
You cancel plans with your friends because you just don’t have the energy
You feel disconnected from (or maybe a little too connected to) your family
You cannot stop thinking, no matter how hard you try (especially at night)
You’re struggling to get tasks done, whether you’ve begun or never got started
You’re irritated, unmotivated and/or frustrated
Are a resident of South Carolina, Colorado or Florida
…Sound like you?

I’m a clinician who meets you right where you are. I honor and value every part of your lived experience and I never forget that when we’re in this shared space.
Flexible telehealth built around your real life
I offer 100% telehealth sessions so that you can heal from the comfort and safety of your own home. And because I know you’re carrying the weight of the world, I offer high-demand evening and Saturday availability. (So now there’s no excuse, sorry sis!! 🤪)
What Sets The Clarity Studio Apart?
-
As a Black woman with a big personality, I understand the deep complexities of navigating within a world that wants you to shrink. My own lived experiences have been integral in the woman I have become today, and informs the empathy, insight and unwavering support I bring into the therapy room every single time.
-
Anxiety and complicated mother (and family) relationships aren't side notes in my work, they're where I spend the most time and feel the most in my element. If you've spent years managing a relationship with your mom or other family member that never quite feels settled, or if anxiety has become so constant you've stopped even noticing it as anxiety, this is exactly the terrain I know best.

True growth requires being real with yourself. Sometimes, we need a mirror held up to our faces to clearly see what needs to change. I’m here to help you look into that mirror without a single piece of guilt or shame, so you can make the shifts necessary to become the person you want to be.

I'm a therapist, not a robot. I crack jokes, I'll call things what they are, and I won't let you pretend a feeling isn't there just to keep things comfortable. If something needs to be said, I'll say it, directly, but never without kindness behind it. Our sessions feel like a real conversation rather than a clinical hour, because that's the only way I know how to show up.
